Please refer to the ORC for general, College-wide requirements for admission to the Honors Program. A student who wishes to write an honors thesis must give evidence of exceptional ability and interest in the major field by having a GPA of 3.5 or better.
Thesis Description
A thesis is a sustained analysis (normally 60 to 80 pages) of a carefully focused topic or problem. It must ask and treat a question of importance, engaging with both primary and secondary sources. The thesis will respect consistent conventions of citations style, and will be presented as a public oral presentation and as a paper presented to the faculty. The final thesis will be submitted to Digital Commons due on the first day of final exams.
